很早之前就把电影下载到硬盘上,结果只在这一天的深夜的时候看完这部电影,开始看的时候是抱着一种完成夙愿的感觉的:是的,我又完成了很久以前许下的愿望,看完这部电影。
电影的镜头进入很慢,几乎没有什么矛盾的冲突和激荡,甚至镜头的抖动都可以让人感到是一部平常人拍的DV:技术粗糙而充满生活感,这跟一些时下的大片格格不入--你知道,这样的抖动感让人感到了业余,但却让我感到了接近于我们的生活状态--我们的生活,从来不经过剪接就开始播放了。可正是这一切欺骗了我,我从来不会想过,我会对这部电影如此的动容。
Selma具有非凡的音乐天赋。然而,她却是一个单亲母亲,此外,她也具有先天性的不幸:她的眼睛由于遗传,将逐渐失明,而她的儿子也将步她的后尘。于是生命的场景开始在她的眼睛中展开。她逐渐失明,失去工作,可是她内心的信念就是让孩子不再失明。她不舍得为儿子买脚踏车,因为她要节省,节省这爱,以挽留儿子的眼睛。可是她的邻居Bill是个可怜的人,他痛苦异常,由于妻子的奢侈生活,他不再能像一个体面的男人一样出手大方。他甚至对拿过他的枪的Selma说:shot me,please shot me. 生活的压力让他想到了死。可他始终没有勇气吞弹自杀,却只能恳求Selma向他开枪。他死了,接着就是一个催人泪下的故事。
看多了美国大片的人往往喜欢皆大欢喜的结局,然而更多人忽略了,这生命的结局并非都是皆大欢喜。Selma没有得救,因为她始终坚持着对邻居Bill的诺言:沉默是金。对于儿子和自己的生命,她选择了前者。她继续在黑暗中起舞。这个不能失去音乐的母亲,在牢狱中幻想的乐声中踢踏起舞,她流泪、歌唱,生活再一次的显现。
当Jeff对Selma说I love you的时候,我忽然忍不住的流出泪来。这时候的Selma已经放弃了自己的生命,可是她还是在对Jeff--这个爱着她的男人--说:"Don't cry Jeff, Jeff, don't cry, just be fine."当Jeff轻声的说出"I love you"的时候,Selma再也忍不住的哭了出来。或者只有在分别的那一刻,这一句话才足够让人刻骨铭心--因为那就是生离死别。
在Selma和女狱警一起数那走向死亡的107步的时候,乐声再次响起,Selma再一次的开始歌唱。她恐惧得站不起来,可还是音乐伴随她走完了最后的生命历程。面对着行刑时给她的黑头套,她如此的恐惧,她失去了一贯的坚强,她开始失声的痛哭。可是她还是镇定了下来,就在她的朋友把她儿子的眼镜塞进了她手中之后,她开始歌唱,用往常的音调,却没有伴唱团。可是木板嘎然下落,她的歌声兀然的终止,手中的眼镜跌落。
作为一个母亲,她付出的爱是没有后路的。作为另一个男人Jeff,他付出的是没有期望的,这是无望的爱。可是他们都如此的付出了,这情感在人群中显得平凡而伟大。可是我再也不会看这部电影第二次。如很多人所说的那样,不忍再看一次。电影中的悲伤让我不能自持,从歌唱走向死亡,从爱走向离别,都不着痕迹,没有起落,没有冲突,平实得像我们的生活。甚至说,你总会在这部电影里找到你的生活痕迹,为此,我垂泪许久。
另外,不能忘记的是电影中的音乐,每一段都让人心动,优美异常,却心痛无比。特别是片中的《I've Seen It All 》,让我再一次的失言。我看到了一切,我还能企求什么?就像我当下的生活,我们拥有的太多,我们还奢求些什么?
影片最后的字幕是刺眼的黑底白字,一切缓缓浮过,只剩下黑暗。或者这就是我们终将面对的结局。当一些事物逝去,仅留下象征着虚无的黑暗给我们自己。
